Im always interested in finding solutions to design problem and the 2009 grammy posters are a good example of a design problem solved. The use of type to make a portrait has been done, but the use of type to make the portraits of the nominees was a creative way to dipect the artist in a more contemporary way.
what I love about these pictures/grammy posters that you have posted is the type letters that have being incorporated into the the face and hair. It's very creative..I agree.
